Basketball Game Preview: Skagway Panthers vs. Hydaburg Warriors

The Skagway Panthers will take on the Hydaburg Warriors on Sunday. Skagway's defense has only allowed 25.4 points per game this season, so Hydaburg's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hydaburg is facing Skagway at the wrong time: Skagway suffered their first home loss of the season on Wednesday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 30-28. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hydaburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on January 12th as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Kake, falling 54-26.

Skagway's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. As for Hydaburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
