Basketball Game Preview: Bowen Boilermakers vs. Woodlawn Warriors + Official Tickets

The Bowen Boilermakers will venture away from home to face off against the Woodlawn Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bowen came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Westinghouse and fell 63-28. The matchup marked the Boilermakers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Woodlawn and Chicago Washington meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 55-43 win over the Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won seven in a row.

Woodlawn now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bowen, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Bowen came up short against Woodlawn in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 53-49. Can the Boilermakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
