Moriah had won two straight games and Cooper Allen did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Moriah Vikings took down the Bolton Central Eagles 76-62 thanks in part to Allen, who almost dropped a double-double with 38 points and nine boards. His evening made it 29 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Chase McGinness was another key player, putting up 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Bolton Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Liam Foy, who had 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jace Hubert, who scored 21 points.

Moriah's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Bolton Central, with the defeat, they broke their 17-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Moriah will take on Lisbon Central at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Moriah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bolton Central, they will face off against Harrisville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bolton Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.4 points per game this season.
