Basketball Recap: Leonardtown Takes a Loss

If Leonardtown was feeling good fresh off their 87-33 takedown of Calvert last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leonardtown Raiders took a 65-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lackey Chargers on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-54 on February 5th.

Leonardtown's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Lackey, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lackey beat Leonardtown by a score of 65-55 on Tuesday.
