Baseball Game Preview: Cypress Centurions vs. Foothill Knights

For the second straight game, Cypress will face off against Foothill. The Centurions will square off against the Knights at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cypress 2.3, Foothill 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Foothill will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Cypress extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday. The Centurions never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

For Foothill's part, Caden Lauridsen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over nine innings pitched. Furthermore, Lauridsen didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

Cypress' win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Foothill, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
