Beachside came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Middleburg Broncos by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Barracudas also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Beachside walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 17-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Adriana Jeanpierre paced Beachside's offense, picking up 20 kills. Jeanpierre got some help from Mollie VanDeusen and her 23 assists. VanDeusen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Isabella Taveras Seda, each putting up two.

When it comes to explaining why Middleburg lost, don't look at Haley Fugate. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and one assist.

Beachside's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Middleburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Beachside will take on Bishop Kenny at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middleburg, they will square off against Tocoi Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
