New Mexico Military Institute came into Friday's match looking for another win against Ruidoso, but Mason Fikany wouldn't allow it. The Ruidoso Warriors walked away with a 49-39 win over the New Mexico Military Institute Colts on Friday thanks to Fikany, who went 9-for-20 en route to 25 points. What's more, he posted four boards, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Ruidoso's record is now 14-10. As for New Mexico Military Institute, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-11.

Ruidoso didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-43 victory against Dexter on the 18th. As for New Mexico Military Institute, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-54 win against Tularosa on the 18th.
