Football Game Preview: Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers vs. Marshfield Rams + Official Tickets

The Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Marshfield Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Whitman-Hanson Regional has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Marshfield will arrive with three straight wins.

On Friday, Whitman-Hanson Regional was beaten by Plymouth North 48-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshfield). They blew past Silver Lake Regional 38-14 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Lakers are ranked 124th).

Marshfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Whitman-Hanson Regional took a serious blow against Marshfield in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 39-7. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
