Avalon had won two straight games and Josh Novak did his part to make it three on Friday. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trinidad Trojans 57-12 with plenty of help from Novak, who rushed for 190 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 14 times he's played.

Avalon's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Avalon is taking a road trip to take on Methodist Children's Home at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinidad, they will face off against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
