Volleyball Game Preview: Filer Wildcats vs. Kimberly Bulldogs

Filer hasn't had much luck against Kimberly recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Filer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over South Fremont. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

Filer typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Kimberly proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0.

Kimberly was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 28-26.

Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Filer, their win bumped their record up to 22-11.

Filer might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Kimberly in their previous meeting on Wednesday. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
