Football Recap: Dacula's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Collins Hill, Dacula was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights by a score of 28-15. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Garrison G Cantrell produced another solid performance rushing for 49 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 103 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Dacula didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Central Gwinnett to a completion percentage of just 23.8%. The Falcons weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 58.8%.

When it comes to explaining why Central Gwinnett lost, don't look at Terrell Killings. Despite the final result, he rushed for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. The Black Knights also got a significant boost from Cj Benton, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

Dacula's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Central Gwinnett, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, after each having a week off, Dacula and Valdosta will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Central Gwinnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
