Basketball Recap: Spring Lake's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Spring Lake was the 74-43 winner over Sparta when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Spring Lake Lakers and the Sparta Spartans didn't end well, with the Spring Lake Lakers falling 54-39. The Lakers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Spring Lake's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Sparta, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Spring Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sparta, they will be taking part in a tournament against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Catholic Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sparta surely won't give up without a fight.
