Basketball Recap: More Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Centerpoint Christian Academy

More Academy took a 23-point loss the last time they faced off against CenterPoint Christian Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The More Academy Crusaders had just enough and edged the CenterPoint Christian Academy Lions out 85-83. The Crusaders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why CenterPoint Christian Academy lost on Thursday, don't look at Jeremy Boillat. Despite the final result, he shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 45 points and 15 boards. Boillat's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Nolan Dieterle was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 26 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for More Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for CenterPoint Christian Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.

More Academy will square off against Michigan School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
