Basketball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was the 54-22 winner over Durant when they last played one another back in January of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Midland Eagles took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durant Wildcats on Monday.

Midland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Durant, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Midland has already played their next matchup (against Easton Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Durant will welcome Regina at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Regina has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three games.
