Volleyball Recap: Camarillo Takes a Loss

Camarillo lost against Oaks Christian back in August of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scorpions fell 2-0 to the Lions. The shutout was out of character for the Scorpions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Oaks Christian was led to victory by Kiah Wong and Ellie Hallinan. Wong had 14 assists and four aces, while Hallinan had seven digs and one assist. That's the most aces Wong has posted since back in August.

Camarillo moved to 12-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Oaks Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Camarillo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Casteel on the 3rd. As for Oaks Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Liberty on the 3rd.
