Soccer Recap: Mission Vista Finishes Even with El Camino

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Mission Vista was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the El Camino Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Elias Mondragon and Brody Jedlicki scored both of Mission Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Mission Vista's draw gives them a new season record of 6-7-3. As for El Camino, they moved theirs to 2-7-3.

Mission Vista will face off against Sage Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mission Vista is facing Sage Creek at the right time seeing as Sage Creek is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for El Camino, they will take on Canyon Crest Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. El Camino's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
