Basketball Game Preview: Albemarle Bulldogs vs. North Rowan Cavaliers

Albemarle is 0-10 against North Rowan since February of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Albemarle Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the North Rowan Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m.

Albemarle is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They were beaten by Mount Pleasant 76-41. The Bulldogs were down 58-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, North Rowan waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Yellowjackets 89-71.

North Rowan pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.0 points per game. As for Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Albemarle was taken down by North Rowan 88-47 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Albemarle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
