Football Recap: West Mecklenburg Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for West Mecklenburg's offense. They were outmatched by the Hough Huskies and fell 43-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Drake Lineberger threw for 35 yards on seven of 15 attempts. On the ground, Shawn Blackshear rushed for 37 yards.

West Mecklenburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hough, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
