If Willow Springs was riding high fresh off their 60-38 takedown of Blue Eye last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Willow Springs Bears fell just short of the Mansfield Lions by a score of 55-53 on Saturday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Willow Springs' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Mansfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-9.

Willow Springs will head out to square off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
