Warren Central is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Butler County, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, Edmonson County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Patriots. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one run.

Tyson Meredith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hunter Wilson, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
