Basketball Recap: Normal University Takes a Loss

Normal University lost against St. Teresa back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Normal University Pioneers took a 31-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Teresa Bulldogs. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Normal University's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for St. Teresa, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Normal University will challenge Springfield Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Teresa, they will square off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
