Island Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the East Lee County Jaguars, falling 31-21. On the bright side, the 21- run effort marked the Gators' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Island Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for East Lee County, they moved to 4-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Island Coast has already played their next contest, an 18-17 win against Dunbar on the 17th. As for East Lee County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Cypress Lake on the 15th.
