Basketball Recap: Shasta Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Julian Turner and Reed Ranker

Shasta played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Enterprise Hornets, falling 58-33. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Shasta had strong showings from Reed Ranker, who posted 13 points along with five rebounds and five blocks, and Julian Turner, who put up ten points in addition to six boards and six blocks. Thanks to that strong game, Ranker now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. Thomas Soloman was another key player, putting up three points.

Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Enterprise, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.

Shasta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-64 win against Chico on the 11th. As for Enterprise, they have also already played their next contest, a 62-49 defeat against Foothill on the 11th.
