Soccer Recap: South Hills Comes Up Short

South Hills and Laguna Beach squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but South Hills had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Laguna Beach Breakers by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Huskies haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

South Hills' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Laguna Beach, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

South Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Laguna Beach, they will head out to challenge Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Indian Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
