Football Recap: Gabrielino Eagles vs. Workman Lobos        
        
		
             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Gabrielino). They took their  matchup at home  on Thursday with ease, bagging  a  33-6 win over the Workman Lobos. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Eagles.
  Isiah Caballero had a dynamite game for Gabrielino, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Another player making a difference was  Peter Ruiz, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Gabrielino's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Ethan Tran and  Jahkai Lowe.
 The  victory  got Gabrielino back to even at 2-2. As for Workman,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Gabrielino will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Santiago at 7:00  p.m.  on September 27th. As for Workman, they will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Wilson at 7:00  p.m.  on September 27th.
