Soccer Game Preview: Minooka vs. Fenwick

The Minooka Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Fenwick Friars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Minooka fell victim to York and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dukes by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Fenwick didn't have quite enough to beat Naperville North on Thursday and fell 2-1.

The Friars' goal came courtesy of Finley Dondlinger, who's now up to three this season.

Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Fenwick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season.
