Spanish Springs entered their tilt with Yerington on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Spanish Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Spanish Springs will face off against Bishop Union at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Yerington and Coral Academy of Science - Reno will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:00 p.m. on the 30th. The matchup will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
