Soccer Game Preview: Peach County vs. Bainbridge

The Peach County Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Bainbridge Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Peach County sitting on four straight victories and Bainbridge on eight.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Peach County who was credited with the win on Tuesday. The Trojans got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to Northside's zero. Given Peach County's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Northside are ranked 385th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Two weeks ago, Bainbridge made easy work of Westover and carried off an 8-1 victory. Bainbridge might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six goals or more this season.

They hit Westover with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addison Hill (4), Lydia Bentley (2), Alicia Sarmiento, and Emma Ryan Shirley.

Peach County's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those seven contests. As for Bainbridge, their record now sits at 9-3.
