If Murphy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Theodore, they should've done a better job of containing Kendrick Able Jr.. The Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Panthers 31-0 thanks in part to Able Jr., who rushed for 66 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. He has become a key player for Theodore: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Theodore's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Murphy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Theodore will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Murphy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 56-0 loss against Baldwin County on the 10th.
