Bradley extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 10-7 in the process. They blew past the Lafayette County Cougars 18-12. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

As for Lafayette County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games.

For Lafayette County's part, Trey Knighton led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Zakarian Lawson was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradley will head out to challenge Columbia Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette County, they will venture away from home to face off against Hermitage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hermits have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
