Hopkinton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mascoma, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Hopkinton Hawks blew past the Mascoma Royals 57-33 on Tuesday. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season.

Mascoma lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lyla Jacobson, who posted nine points and three steals. Aaralyn Chiasson was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight boards.

Hopkinton's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Mascoma, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hopkinton will take on Monadnock at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mascoma has already played their next game (against White Mountains), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
