Softball Recap: Georgetown G-Men vs. Goshen Warriors
If Georgetown was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Batavia on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The G-Men took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goshen Warriors on Saturday. The G-Men were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Brenalyn Hudson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Goshen, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Georgetown will venture away from home to face off against Blanchester at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Goshen, they will head out to challenge Clinton-Massie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
