Recap: Seaside Spartans vs. Palo Alto Vikings
The Seaside Spartans and the Palo Alto Vikings squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Seaside Spartans had to settle for second. Seaside was beaten by Palo Alto 55-21. Seaside has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Jeremiah Madrigal went supernova for Palo Alto, rushing for 173 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Isaiah Phillips and his 88 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Palo Alto's win.
Seaside has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Palo Alto, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Seaside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palo Alto will look to defend their home field on Friday against Leigh at 7:00 p.m.
