Recap: Norman Tigers vs. Mustang Broncos
The Norman Tigers lost to the Mustang Broncos back in October of 2022, but The Norman Tigers didn't allow the Mustang Broncos the same satisfaction on Friday. Norman walked away with a 27-19 win over Mustang.
Norman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dax Noles, who rushed for two yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 58 receiving yards. Norman also got a significant boost from Devin Alexander, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 132 yards.
Norman's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mustang, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norman will square off against Yukon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yukon is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Mustang, they will head out on the road to face off against Edmond North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Edmond North is ranked 60th, while Mustang is ranked 36th).
