Musselman has gone 8-2 against Berkeley Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Applemen will welcome the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

They fell just short of Martinsburg by a score of 4-3. The Applemen have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Musselman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tannor Sharp, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Berkeley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-5 to Fort Hill.

Jaxon McClintock made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That run was his first of the season. Kyle Rankin was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Berkeley Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Musselman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Berkeley Springs' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Musselman has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Berkeley Springs, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Musselman keep running through batters, or will the Indians buck the trend?

Musselman took their win against Berkeley Springs in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Applemen repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
