Soccer Game Preview: Hudson vs. Kilgore

The Hudson Hornets will head out to take on the Kilgore Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hudson will be strutting in after a victory while Kilgore will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Hudson made easy work of Crockett and carried off a 4-1 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Kilgore unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to Longview.

The victory made it two in a row for Hudson and bumps their season record up to 12-6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Kilgore, their loss dropped their record down to 18-3-1.

Hudson suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Kilgore when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Hudson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
