Platte County's tournament run continued when they took on North Kansas City on Saturday. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hornets.

Malin Cole paced Platte County's offense, picking up six kills. Cole got some help from Ella Cruce and her eight assists. Emma Brinkman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Platte County's victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for North Kansas City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Platte County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against St. Pius X on the 20th. As for North Kansas City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Winnetonka on the 20th.
