Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Casteel

Hamilton faced Casteel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies came out on top against the Colts by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Colts back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Hamilton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.

Nia Curry paced Hamilton's offense, picking up 20 kills. Curry got some help from Hailey Johnston and her 35 assists.

Casteel's loss came despite strong showings from Ella Witte and Faith Bahun. Witte had ten digs, while Bahun had ten digs and one assist.
