Bountiful has gone 6-1 against Roy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bountiful RedHawks are taking a road trip to take on the Roy Royals at 7:00 p.m. Bountiful is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Last Friday, Bountiful earned a 54-41 victory over Clearfield. Given the RedHawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Falcons are ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Roy managed to keep up with Woods Cross until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Roy lost 68-45 to Woods Cross. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Bountiful will need to focus on slowing down Jesse Jones, one of several Roy players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Frokjer, who posted 15 points and six boards.

Roy's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Bountiful, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.

Bountiful took their victory against Roy when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 72-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bountiful since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
