Basketball Recap: Glendale Prep Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Glendale Prep Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Johns Redskins on Friday.

St. Johns had a senior duo take command as Kaylee Pulsipher went 6-for-11 on her way to 12 points along with six boards and six steals and Evelyn Andrus dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hannah Farmer, who posted eight points and six boards.

Glendale Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for St. Johns, they pushed their record up to 30-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.

Glendale Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Johns, they will take on Miami at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Johns is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season.
