The Longwood Prep Academy Legends will take on the Law Government & Justice Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Longwood Prep Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Longwood Prep Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 67-46 margin over Archimedes on Friday. Given the Legends' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Archimedes are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Law Government & Justice strolled past Bronx Early College Academy with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 68-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Law Government & Justice is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Longwood Prep Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Everything went Longwood Prep Academy's way against Law Government & Justice when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Longwood Prep Academy made off with a 57-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Longwood Prep Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
