After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Plain Dealing finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 20-2 to the Ringgold Redskins. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Plain Dealing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ringgold, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plain Dealing will venture away from home to take on Bossier at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Bearkats at the right time seeing as the Bearkats are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Ringgold, they will face off against Red River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.28 runs per game on average), something the Redskins will no doubt try to take advantage of.
