After flying high against Lindbergh last Wednesday, Cedarcrest came back down to earth. The contest between the Cedarcrest Red Wolves and the Interlake Saints didn't end well, with the Cedarcrest Red Wolves falling 48-33. The Red Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Several Red Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stella Metcalf, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 13 points and three steals. Metcalf is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Dice, who posted six points and 12 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Cedarcrest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Tiffany Shaw continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Interlake, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Shaw a new career-high. Harper Moore was another key player, putting up 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
