Volleyball Recap: Compton Comes Up Short

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Millikan Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-13.

Compton's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Millikan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Compton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millikan, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodrow Wilson at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st.
