Softball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Alhambra managed to slip by North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 14-1 to the Mustangs on Thursday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Alhambra saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillyana Reyes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for North, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

Alhambra has already played their next contest, a 13-2 defeat against Millennium on the 18th. As for North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 15-6 loss against McClintock on the 22nd.
