Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson County vs. Karns

The Jefferson County Patriots will take on the Karns Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jefferson County came up short against Oak Ridge on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The defeat continues a trend for Jefferson County in their meetings with Oak Ridge: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Karns entered their tilt with Knoxville Central on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Beavers who were credited with the victory. Karns got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Knoxville Central's four.

Jefferson County now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Karns, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-2.
