Mississinewa extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Marion. They blew past the Giants 14-4. Considering the Indians have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooklynn Nash made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Amiyaa Parr-Inman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Jaeli Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Mississinewa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matchups.
