Baseball Recap: Midlakes Screaming Eagles vs. Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders
Midlakes couldn't beat Palmyra-Macedon on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Screaming Eagles fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 6-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Screaming Eagles of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Braxton Wilkes put in work no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
