Soccer Recap: Conifer Takes a Loss

Conifer lost against Green Mountain back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lobos came up short against the Rams, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Conifer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Green Mountain are ranked ninth).

This is the second loss in a row for Conifer and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Green Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1.

Conifer has already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Wheat Ridge on the 1st. As for Green Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Standley Lake on the 1st.
