Baseball Recap: Eaton Rapids Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eaton Rapids's offense. They came up short against the Lansing Catholic Cougars on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Eaton Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lansing Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-2-1 record this season.

Eaton Rapids will face off against Eastern at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Quakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.34 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lansing Catholic, they will welcome East Lansing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
